Peruvian Amazon Tours and Cruises
Most of Peruvian Amazon tours start in Iquitos which serves as a hub for foreign travelers and visitors to Peru's jungle lodges. Amazon River Cruise
The Amazon River Cruise leaves in large riverboats that take visitors up and down the Amazon in a stylish and comfortable fashion. Most river cruises take place on large informal ships designed with air-conditioned rooms and open decks and hammocks for the visitor to leisurely enjoy the sights of the river.
Cruises can be arranged in any travel agency in Iquitos or in most travel agencies in Lima. Down River cruises leave Iquitos and travel to the twin cities of Tabatinga, Brazil and Leticia, Colombia. Cruises depart Sunday mornings and arrive on Wednesdays. Up river cruises take the reverse pattern, leaving from Leticia or Tabatinga on Wednesday and arriving in Iquitos on Wednesday.

Canopy Walks
Throughout the Amazon, canopy walks are designed 30-40 meters off the ground.
