Glen H. Bartlett, 86, of Macy’s died at 2:23 p.m. on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at the Life Care Center in Rochester.
On September 10, 1935, Glen was born in the city of Birmingham, Miami County, to Maurice and Mary Lucille Robins Bartlett. He graduated with the class of 1953 from Macy High School. Growing up, he shared his childhood with a sister and four brothers.
Glen and Donna Alspach got married and from their union was born a son, Tony. Glen later married Sharon Black.
As a factory superintendent, Glen worked for United Technology for nearly four decades. Its members include Macy Christian Church and Masonic Lodge # 79.
Glen’s memory remains to be cherished: his wife Sharon and his daughters Brenda and Tracy of Peru, his son Tony Bartlett and his wife Cindy of Churubusco, his grandson Jacob E. Bartlett and his wife Andrea and their son TY Bartlett; her granddaughter Antonia Spring Fisher and her husband Wade and their children, Astella Fisher, Hawk Fisher, Falon Fisher; brother, Jim Bartlett and wife Viki of Rochester and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding Glen in death are his parents, three brothers Bartlett, Wilden, Byron and John.
A Celebration of the Life of Glen H. Bartlett will take place on Wednesday, January 5, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 West 18th St., Rochester. Pastor David Welsh will officiate. Friends can visit family from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2021 and one hour before the funeral home service. A Masonic Lodge # 79 memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday. Interment will be in Plainview Cemetery.
